Hypnotherapy is a healing modality that utilizes the state of hypnosis to address and help treat a variety of mental, energetic/spiritual and physical health conditions. Guided hypnosis is used to bring the client into a meditative, trance-like state. Once in this state the hypnotherapist may use this relaxed, receptive state to help the client find & access resources within their subconscious mind. These resources are the magic key to addressing the primary concern of the client so that they can acheive their desired outcome. It is important to note that while under hypnosis the client is still in full control of themselves.

No, hypnotherapy does not always work on everyone. The client must actually want to change and be willing to be hypnotized. Not everyone is able to enter a state of hypnosis deeply enough for it to be effective. The easier you are able to relax into a state of hypnosis the more effective and beneficial it will be.

will i still be in control of myself?

Absolutely. You are always in complete control while in a state of hypnosis and cannot be forced to do anything against your will. If a suggestion goes against your morals or beliefs you will reject it because your critical faculties remain in tact.

can i talk while in hypnosis?

Yes you can talk while in hypnosis. You are still able to speak and communicate while in hypnosis, although it may be difficult if you’re very relaxed.

can i hypnotize myself?

Yes! You can learn to hypnotize yourself and I will teach you how. With practice and repetition this a skill you can utilize to your benefit.

On average 6-8 sessions are needed to deal with any given issue. It really depends on the desired outcome, and each individuals ability to be hypnotized and respond well to suggestions.
